The Pal Collaborative at Upstate Art Weekend 2026
We are excited to share that The Pal Collaborative will be participating in Upstate Art Weekend (June 25–29, 2026), joining artists and organizations across the Hudson Valley and Catskills for this region‑rooted celebration of creativity.
The Pal Collaborative — comprised of Elizabeth Velazquez, Nadia Martinez, Leonor Mendoza, and Carlos Mendoza — is a multidisciplinary collective exploring how meaning emerges through construct, connection, transformation, and searching. Working across sculpture, painting, installation, and drawing, our practices intersect to create environments where materials, ideas, and relationships are in constant conversation.
Upstate Art Weekend (UAW) is an artist‑forward platform dedicated to amplifying the voices, practices, and communities that shape the cultural landscape of Upstate New York. What began in 2020 as an annual festival has grown into a broader initiative that supports artists, strengthens creative networks, and deepens public connection to art and place.
We’re honored to be part of this year’s program and to contribute to a weekend that centers care, reciprocity, and long‑term impact within the arts. More details about our exhibition and programming will be shared soon.
